Origin: England, widely used by commercial breweries.

Ideal Styles: English ales, including pale ales, brown ales, porters, and bitters.

Fermentation Characteristics: Rapid and efficient fermentation with a neutral aroma and mild ester notes.

Temperature Range: 61–75°F (16–24°C).

Attenuation: Approximately 75–83% apparent attenuation for thorough sugar conversion.

Flocculation: High, ensuring excellent sedimentation at the end of fermentation.

Alcohol Tolerance: Up to 12% ABV.

Dosage: 50–80 g/hL of wort, pitched directly or rehydrated in sterile water at 61–73°F (16–23°C).
