It uses a Phosphate Enhanced Organic Acid Technology formulation, that is silicate- free, designed to match color, chemistry and performance requirements of Toyota, Lexus, and Scion automobiles and light duty trucks requiring an extended life, ethylene glycol based, coolant that is red or pink in color.
